Dr. Sean Murphy
Dr. Sean Murphy is a family wellness chiropractor practicing in his hometown of Carleton Place, Ontario. Together with his wife Christine, and their incredible Team, he has built one of the largest family wellness chiropractic practices in the Ottawa Valley area. This has allowed him to treat patients from all over the area (Smith’s Falls, Perth, Lanark, Ferguson Falls, Renfrew, Kanata, and Carleton Place). He is a gifted speaker, writer, and teacher of health.Dr. Murphy graduated in the year 2000 from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard Ill (just outside Chicago) with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a B.Sc in Biology.
Prior to that, he graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.Sc. in 1996. Dr Murphy prides himself on giving his patients the best care possible. He and the Team are involved in regular Continuing Education Conferences throughout the year travelling all over Canada and the United States to bring back the most up to date chiropractic information and techniques available.
Through his extensive chiropractic training, Dr Murphy has a strong passion for helping all families reach their full potential that God has given them without drugs or surgery. He believes in a holistic approach to health and wellness and uses his gift of educating to teach the public about chiropractic care in the community through corporate health talks, health fairs, and Spinal Health and Safety speaking engagements.
Dr Murphy has spoken about chiropractic at conferences around Ontario, the United States, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Jamaica. He writes bi-weekly columns in the local newspaper, has had guest speaking spots on TSN and CFRA radio, a regular expert on CTV, and has been the main VIVA sponsor for the Senior of the Year award in the area.
He is blessed with his beautiful wife Christine (Business Manager) and their 2 children Rachel and Callum. They are proud to call Carleton Place their home and they give back to the community whenever possible (Food Bank donations, Hat and Mitt Collection for the Carleton Place Christmas Basket Fund, Chiropractors with Compassion, and the annual ‘Give Thanks’ Bread Drive). Dr Murphy’s recreational interests include exercising, hockey, tennis, reading, golfing, and woodworking.

Christine is a proud mother and wife, and also practiced massage therapy for a number of years before she decided that her kids and the clinic would be her main focus.
